About HD Brows BrowSculpt

£45

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your treatment

Brow lamination is a two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution.

The way we tailor brow lamination isn’t just about brushed up brows; it can also be a fantastic corrective treatment to totally transform the shape of your brows. This is why our stylists tailor the treatment to your brow needs.

Correct

If you have unruly, flat or downward growing hairs, eyebrow lamination can change the direction of growth to create a more uniform look with a higher arch and a more desirable brow shape. We can also tailor the treatment to correct smaller targeted unruly areas to suit your brow needs, perfect if you just want to add symmetry.

Lift

From an extreme brushed up look to a subtle lift (and everything in between), your brows will appear fuller in an instant using your existing brow hair, making it a great microblading alternative.

Aftercare

Aftercare is crucial for this treatment and the Tint Lock Serum is highly recommended. Please read the pre-treatment and aftercare advice below.

The process

Consultation

All of our treatments begin with a thorough consultation, so your stylist can establish your brow goals and work to achieve them.

Relaxing the hair

We’ll start the process by relaxing the hair: breaking down the hair structure to make it straighter and easier to manipulate.

Setting the shape

Next, we’ll brush them into your desired position before applying a treatment lotion that sets the brows in place.

Bespoke brow tinting

Your stylist will then tint your brows, using our Brow Dyes to mix a custom colour that that’s totally bespoke to you.

Mapping the brows

Now that your hairs are in their new position, you’ll need a new shape to match. We’ll create it with a combination of waxing, threading, tweezing and feathering.

Finishing

Those finishing touches make your fresh brows feel even fresher, even if it’s just adding a hair stroke or two.

Pre-treatment and Aftercare advice

Please note that the minimum age for HD BrowSculpt is 18. HD BrowSculpt cannot be performed on any client who is pregnant or breast feeding.

Pre-treatment advice

  • Ensure a patch test has been carried out at The Beauty Queen at least 48 hours before your treatment, every time.

  • Avoid the use of fake tan around the brow area at least 2-3 days either side of the treatment. If you do wish to use fake tanning product on your face, apply a barrier to the hair and small area around the brow prior to tanning to prevent discolouration of your tint.

  • Avoid the use of sunbeds at least 24 hours before.

  • Avoid the use of AHAs, Facial Peels or Facials (including exfoliation) for 3 days before.

Atercare advice

The first 48 hours are crucial to prolong the life of your treatment so please follow the advice below.

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet, or coming into contact with water for 24 hours.

  • Avoid contact with direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours.

  • Avoid touching and rubbing of the treated area for 24 hours.

  • Avoid using fake tanning products in the area for 3 days (see above).

  • Avoid exfoliating and anti-ageing products around the brow area for 3 days either side of the treatment

  • Remember, your results will be darker and more defined immediately after your treatment. The make up applied is not permanent and tint will fade depending on the frequency of cleansing.

  • You must inform us immediately should you experience any itching, swelling, rashes, bruising, skin grazing or cuts after your treatment so we can advise you on the correct procedure to follow.

  • We strongly recommend the use of HD Brows Tint Lock Serum to prolong the wear of your tint and keep your brows conditioned after you treatment.
